esd partner Erik Simpson did a four-day “Colorado Death Loop” ride. Here are his tweets for each day:

# Day 1 of Colorado Death Loop done. 8500ft of climbing. 86 miles. 4:34 PM Aug 9th from TweetDeck.

# In Telluride after day 2 of the CDL. Only 50 miles, but never got below 8000ft. Saw a dead bear on the side of the road at the top of a pass. 2:29 PM Aug 10th from TweetDeck.

# Day 3: After a 28 degree start and 20 miles of tough switchback climbing, I was rewarded to a 45 mile downhill and 85 degree weather. Wheee - About 5:00 p.m. Aug. 11th  from TweetDeck.

# Just finished. In Durango. 40+ mph descent to the finish. Had a blast. About 1:00 p.m. Aug. 12 from TweetDeck.
