San Antonio family, Cristina and Eduardo Lopez, with their 15-month old baby Eduardo, were featured with Alzafar Shriner Assistant Rabban, Mario Vargas on Noticias 41 on KWEX-TV. The Lopez family talked about their struggle to find help for their baby, who suffers from congenital vertical taulus, among other health issues. Fortunately, the Lopez family was recommended to the Shriners Hospital for Children in Houston, and received a prognosis of Eduardo of being able to walk normal after his surgery this month.
With the Shriners preparing for their 6th Annual Hospital Charity Gala and Auction on October 13, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., appearances like this bring awareness to the Alzafar Shriners, the Shriners Hospitals for Children, and ultimately help get the word out about the fundraiser.
Make sure to catch Vargas and the Lopez Family on KABB-TV, FOX News First on Tuesday, October 9th, as they talk more about what the Shriners organization does.
