The numbers are in! SAMMinistries released their 2012 report on Homelessness in San Antonio. President and CEO of SAMMinistries, Navarra Williams, took the day to speak with local media such as KSAT-TV, WOAI-TV, KWEX-TV and others and about the report.
With numbers steady from 2011, the state of homelessness for San Antonio is relatively similar from last year. Williams also discussed various programs that SAMMinistries provided in 2012 that served 4,174 individuals, including 1,696 children. The organization provided:

  • Transitional and permanent housing to 143 families
  • Job training and employment development services to 117 individuals
  • Over $89,000 in educational scholarships and assistance to 107 individuals
