High-profile, luxury homebuilder Sitterle Homes held its official groundbreaking for Riverstone, a spacious master-planned community featuring luxury garden home living in Sugar Land, Texas, on June 19. Riverstone is the first Houston development for Sitterle, but its 22nd in Texas, with 14 in San Antonio and seven in Austin.
With its steady growth in San Antonio and Austin, Sitterle didn’t initially plan to become home builders in Houston. But with nearly 30 years of experience in the homebuilding industry in Houston, Steve VonHofe, Houston division president and partner, had valuable insights into the area’s real estate trends, including land acquisition, and established the connection between JDC and Sitterle that led to Riverstone.
Riverstone offers hiking trails, lighted tennis courts, swimming pools, playgrounds and a 3.5-acre dog park. This lock-and-leave community is also convenient to local shopping, entertainment, restaurants and the Houston Medical Center.
Sitterle Homes was recently honored for its outstanding designs with several awards during the Greater San Antonio Builders Association 2013 Parade of Homes, including Best Front Elevation, Best Site Design, Best Landscaping, the Spirit Award, Realtor’s Choice and People’s Choice.
