The American Heart Association-San Antonio, or AHA, held it’s second annual Fit Friendly Symposium on June 11, providing a free and interactive educational seminar for local companies looking to start or enhance a workplace wellness program.
As an official presenter, esd & associates Director of Communications Robert Crowe spoke about incorporating AHA’s Check Change Control blood pressure monitoring into esd’s award-winning wellness program. For esd, the Check Change Control program has helped employees track and improve health and fitness, while adding another assessment tool for esd’s wellness program.
The symposium provided key insights on nutrition, fitness, increasing engagement and even legal advice on compliance with the Affordable Care Act. esd also presented information about its development and use of the Million Pound Challenge App to help employees track fitness activity and weight loss.
