Taking a bite out of tardiness with treats
Parents dropping of their kids at Lanier High School were surprised with a goody bag of cookies on Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Theresa Vasquez with Community First Health Plans and a volunteer committee came up with the idea to use positive reinforcement to increase attendance at Lanier. SAISD School Board Trustee Patti Radle, along with dozens of other volunteers helped hand out the cookies and thank you notes. esd & associates spoke with their media contacts KSAT-TV’s Ursula Pari and Eileen Gonzales, KABB-TV and WOAI-AM who covered this story.
