Sendero Health Plans joined the Latino HealthCare Forum on Dec. 23 to help Austin residents enroll in health plans through the federal Health Insurance Marketplace.
This event, featuring Sendero Health Plans at the Latino HealthCare Forum headquarters in Austin, helped to raise local media awareness of the process on the enrollment deadline, which was extended by one day to Dec. 24. People who enrolled by the deadline began receiving health coverage on Jan. 1 under the ACA and Sendero Health Plans.
