A new social media application was recently launched and has mobile users flocking in herds to download it. Vine is Twitter’s new video-based social media application. This application gives its users the opportunity to record six-second videos that are then uploaded on to the user’s profile. These videos, which by appearance are similar to GIF files, can be shared via a user’s other social media profiles, like Twitter.
